The bit more comforting news that emerged 5-2 loss Blackhawks' for the Blues was also the most obvious - it was just a game.

Little has gone right for the Hawks in a game captain Jonathan Toews Jersey said: "Our energy, our speed and work ethic was not there."

The biggest question mark for the Hawks has been added as a new and young players performed.

Forwards a mixture

There were four rookies on offense playing on two basic lines for the Hawks. There was Tyler Motte-Marcus Kruger-Ryan Hartman on one line and Vincent Hinostroza-Nick Schmaltz-Jordin Tootoo to another.

The Schmaltz line was - lacking. Between the three of them, they have generated only one coup attempt all night and finished with by far the lowest number of team courses. This could be the reason why the coach Joel Quenneville played Tootoo only one shift in the third period and mixed his lines. That line drawn everyone else in ice time.

Schmaltz and Tootoo finished minus-10 in courses while playing 5-on-5. Hinostroza was minus-12. Not well.

The Kruger line went better - the three were about even in their percentages courses, and have generated a Hartman goal in the second period.

But the search for Quenneville for the balance of all four lines is set to continue after Wednesday. Tootoo try to be a scratch Friday against predators and for Dennis Rasmussen likely to draw in.

"We would like to play more, Quenneville said of his rookies.

New pair of defenders

Newcomers on the blue line, Gustav Forsling and Michal KempnĂ˝, behaved relatively well. Forsling played 15:29 and 18:44 KempnĂ˝ played. Neither did many obvious errors and Quenneville their confidence in difficult situations, particularly at the end of the game. It 'a good omen for their time to play in the future.

Forsling, especially, did not back down under pressure. There was a portion of the game when he had to check the dangerous Vladimir Tarasenko alone in the Hawks zone and not shy away from the challenge. Tarasenko forced to drop the puck.

When Niklas Hjalmarsson is back from suspension, one of the six defenders who played Wednesday will sit. Maybe that player will be Trevor van Riemsdyk, who posted a minus-12 courses also the force with only 50 percent of its area begins to come at the defensive end. Quenneville has a tough decision on his hands Friday, he admitted that does not want to play 11 forwards and seven defenders.

the first goal of Ryan Hartman Jersey

One of the bright spots for the Hawks was Hartman's goal that came at the end of a beautiful sequence between him and Tyler Motte in the second period. Hartman lost his stick as Motte carried the disc Blues area. Motte stumbled stick and lost the drive, but did not give up on the game. He got up, under pressure blue, while Hartman has collected his cane. At the end, Motte obtained the rear disc and after Hartman was denied the first time, the fed back Motte.

This time, he beat Blues goalkeeper Jake Allen to give the Hawks the lead 2-1 at the time. E 'was the first NHL goal of Hartman.

"It 's really a good feeling," said Hartman. "It 's something you dream of all your life, but at the same time we lost. We hope that we return Friday with a little' more power and a little 'more the urgency of battle."
